Some suggestions beyond the conference

• „Schönbrunn“ – The (former) Imperial Summer Palace of the Habsburgs is THE tourist attraction in Vienna and within walking distance from the conference hotel. There you can:
  • Visit the Imperial Palace itself
  • Visit the Park of Schönbrunn – and have a drink at the „Gloriette“ on top of the hill with a fascinating view above Schönbrunn and parts of Vienna
  • Visit the Zoo of Schönbrunn
  • Go to a Concert in Schönbrunn – More information at the Hotel Reception
  • Go Jogging in the Park




• Vienna Sightseeing Tour (hop-on, hop-off) with its green-yellow busses has one of its 15 stops directly in front of Schönbrunn Palace (the yellow line – with which you can also connect to the two other lines: the red and the blue line). During daytime every 30 minutes! Tickets at the Hotel Reception




• Visit the Danube Tower (Donauturm) for a spectacular 360°-view around Vienna – and have a drink or dinner there

• The famous Oktoberfest in Munich (München) starts on 21^st September – and Munich (München) is only four hours away from Vienna by train or car, and only one hour by plane!
