HiCo Group, established 1997, is a leading worldwide provider of enterprise IT-solutions for industry as well as for public- and local authorities. Several competence centers guarantee optimal visual and technical development as well as efficient operation of business sector and customer specific solutions and products.

The department for „Technical Communication & Information Logistics” at HiCo provides internationally specialised solutions for the industry as well as for the civil and military environment of aviation and ship building industries. Its activities focus especially on the organisational and process oriented realization of established standards for Interactive Electronic Technical Documentation (IETD) like ASD/AIA S1000D®, S2000M and ATA iSpec 2200 with the objective of integrated logistic solutions.

Our range of services and products also include innovative editorial and documentation management systems, content management systems (CMS) and web-based solutions for online/offline publications for different media. We provide process and system integration, information networking of technical logistic documentation and product information as well as process integration based on W3C-/WfMC compliant technologies for business process management (BPM) for the technical, company-wide quality assurance of information and processes.

HiCo Group is, with its product development in the area of XML, an authentic partner for the integration of internal and external information resources. We offer services, tailored individually to the needs of the several customers, as well as consulting, provision of tools and support during the entire product life cycle.

The HiCo Group is a member of the AAI and therefore also a full member of ASD (Aerospace & Defence Industries Association of Europe). In 2006 HiCo was affiliated to the TPSMG (Technical Publications Specification Maintenance Group) of ASD – an international standardisation board for the further development of S1000D®. Hence, Werner M. Schadelbauer, CEO of the HiCo Group, is the Austrian industry representative in the S1000D® Steering Committee since 2008.
